The Surgery

The procedure is performed under local or general anesthesia at our private surgical facility located at Yonge and York Mills. Small incisions are made through which a thin tube (cannula) is inserted to gently suction out excess fat. Dr. Kesarwani carefully sculpts targeted areas like the abdomen, thighs, or arms to minimize tissue disruption so you'll have a shorter recovery and be able to see your results faster. While you'll be able to see an improvement immediately, optimum results appear in a couple of months once swelling subsides.

This is one of the most rewarding body contouring procedures for our patients. Because diet and exercise don't typically sculpt stubborn areas, many wish they had done it sooner!

Dr. Atul Kesarwani is the medical director of Cosmedical Rejuvenation Clinic. He has been Head of the division of Plastic Surgery at the Toronto East General Hospital for 12 years. Currently, he serves as a lecturer in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto.

A board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Kesarwani graduated from medical school from the University of Ottawa. After training in General Surgery in London and Ottawa, he completed his specialty training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto. He is certified as a specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member of several professional plastic surgical organizations.

We are centrally located in the Greater Toronto Area, just south of Hwy 401 at Yonge Street, above the York Mills subway station. For your convenience and privacy, your surgery, consultations and appointments all take place here. We are on the second floor, across from the GO terminal and sheltered parking access.
